The Village Shul selects each staff member based on rigorous criteria to ensure that your child has the most loving, professional and dedicated educational staff possible!
Each of our main classroom teachers are Early Childhood Education (ECE) certified, or have received their equivalency from the Ministry of Child and Youth Services.

Chevy Fordsham - Our Program Supervisor
Our Program Supervisor, Chevy Fordsham, is E.C.E. certified and brings over 25 years of pre-school teaching experience. Our diverse and talented team includes educators with special musical training, former playgroup operators, a registered nurse, and even a published children’s book author. One of our teachers was recently featured in The Canadian Jewish News for her outstanding teaching style, which thoughtfully incorporates sensory elements into every lesson.
